Our Company Invests in Photovoltaic Panels
Płoszczyca sp. z o.o. cares not only about the highest quality of its products and services, but also about the environment and the local community. One of our main goals of activity is sustainable development, so the company implements measures to reduce negative environmental impact.
One such investment is the construction of a photovoltaic installation. Being a partner for many companies, we know how important it is to reduce the carbon footprint, so our company implements pro-environmental measures. Drawing energy from the sun not only reduces the consumption of natural resources, reduces the purchase of traditional energy in real terms, but also significantly reduces carbon dioxide emissions and other greenhouse gases. The use of this renewable source is also more beneficial to the local community as it does not generate noise and is emission-free, moreover, used cells can be recycled.
The purchase of a photovoltaic installation is one of our first steps to diversify our energy sources and our contribution to protecting the planet.

The Company Z.P.H. i U. Witold Płoszczyca received subsidy from the Regional Operational Programme of the Lesser Poland Voivodship.
The company Z.P.H. i U. Witold Płoszczyca received subsidy from the Regional Operational Programme of the Lesser Poland Voivodship. Contract concerns half a million support which receives from the ROP entrepreneur for the expansion of the machine park of the company. Investment will increase efficiency and quality production of devices for producing energy from renewable sources.

Research laboratory has received accreditation certificate
On 18 and 19 February 2014 was held at the Research Laboratory accreditation audit. As a result, on April 13, 2014 we received the Accreditation Certificate No. AB 1508 stating that our laboratory meets the requirements of PN-EN ISO / IEC 17025: 2005 on the measurement method of contact.

Z.P.H. & U. Witold Ploszczyca received certificates for the Integrated Management System.
From 14 to 15.05.2012. Certification audit was conducted Integrated Management System. The certification IMQ SA In Poland, as a result of the audit found that the Integrated Management System implemented in our company meets the requirements of ISO 14001: 2004 and Standard BS OHSAS 18001: 2007 for the production of metal and plastic and services in the field of metalworking and plastics.

The official reopening ceremony of the new premises of Manufacturing, Trade and Services Enterprise Witold Płoszczyca located in the Cracow Special Economic Zone in Zator was held on December 6 th 2011.

Witold Ploszczyca Company in the new headquarters.
In the beginning of October 2011, Witold Ploszczyca Company moved its headquarters to the Zone Economic Activity in Zatorz.
The new headquarters was established in a relatively short time, allowing the smooth transfer of production from Wadowice and creating proper working conditions to workers.
Through investments in Zator, the company earns new growth opportunities.

Witold Ploszczyca Company obtained the Quality Management System certificate.
The certification audit of the Quality Management System was conducted from 29th to 30th, July 2010. The certification unit declared that the Quality Management System implemented in our company meets the requirements of ISO 9001:2008 standard when it comes to the production of steel and plastic materials and services related to processing these materials.

ZPHiU Witold Ploszczyca will start the operation of a new plant
Manufacturing, Trade and Service Enterprise (ZPHiU) Witold Ploszczyca will be the first company to start its operations in the newly established sub-zone of the Cracow Special Economic Zone in Zator. ZPHiU intends to invest almost 5 million PLN in the construction of a new manufacturing plant in Zator and put production lines into operation in 2010.
Stanislaw Kracik, Malopolska Voivode, has just granted a permit to operate within the Cracow Special Economic Zone to the ZPHiU Witold Ploszczyca company from Wadowice. New companies in the Zone mean an additional profit for the region, believes Malopolska Voivode Stanislaw Kracik.
- We are glad that this is a company with Polish capital that has a development idea – Malopolska Voivode Stanislaw Kracik said. ZPHiU Witold Ploszczyca intends to build a production facility within the economic sub-zone in Zator next year. The choice of this town to build a new plant is not accidental.
The proximity to the A4 motorway, and thus its quick and easy access, the location between the Silesia and Malopolska metropolitan areas is to give a chance for the further development of the plant and production activities. In the company that has been in existance for over 18 years, 24 persons are employed and components for the electronics industry are manufactured.
The new investment will give the opportunity to employ additional workers – Witold Ploszczyca points out. His investment will be the first in the newly established sub-zone in Zator. The cost of putting the production facility into operation will be 4-5 million PLN. The owner of the plant intends to increase employment by 15 new employees.
The Cracow Zone started its activities with an area of 66 hectares and has expanded to nearly 530 hectares in 17mainly in the Malopolskie Voivodeship, as well as the Podkarpackie Voivodeship. The Zone operates under the Act on Special Economic Zones for areas threatened by unemployment and will operate until the end of 2020.
Manufacturing, Trade and Service Enterprise Witold Ploszczyca was established in 1991. Initially, the production profile involved small metal components for the upholstery industry companies.
- In subsequent years, the development of both technical capability and production capacity took place, the company development focused on the production of non-ferrous metal components for electronic and electrical devices according to customer’s specifications and this resulted in starting co-operation with companies from the electronics and electrical industries - says Witold Ploszczyca, ZPHiU owner.
His enterprise is a typical small business in which the entire production process is based on the professional experience and expertise of the owner, his managerial skills and specialized team of workers. The profits generated by the company were systematically reinvested in machinery to improve and expand the production capacity.
The major clients of ZPHiU Witold Ploszczyca are national and foreign companies in the electronics and electrical engineering industry sectors, as well as wholesale companies selling articles of furniture, upholstery and construction. The company produces a wide range of accessories and components for the electronics, electrical engineering, construction and furniture industry sectors.
Today, Witold Ploszczyca is working on implementing an Integrated Management System according to the PN-EN ISO 9001:2009 and PN EN ISO 14001:2005 standard series in order to increase its competitiveness and ensure the highest quality of products. The guarantee of quality is also the fact that the qualified personnel have been working for many years at ZPHiU, and the company is equipped with modern machinery.
In connection with the implementation of the project no changes to the nature of the business will take place. The company will continue to produce the necessary equipment for the electronics industry - Witold Ploszczyca assures.
The next stages of the development strategy of the company provide for the continued expansion of production area and machinery. The investment planned in Zator is fully consistent with the Regional Innovation Strategies 2007-2013, whose mission and primary objective is to enhance the innovativeness and competitiveness of the economy, in particular through promoting the development of small and medium-sized enterprises.
